But when you are actually moving items around and doing all the heavy lifting, keep plenty of water around for you and anyone who is helping.
# Keep the air conditioner on and running. You may have the door open a lot during this time, but having a cool place to come and rest in when you do all the work can cool down the body and helps you from overheating. Consider some electric fans as well.
# Wear light colored clothing and a breathable fabric. Think ahead to your wardrobe on the day of moving so that you are not wearing anything heavy or too dark to heat you up.
